About The Future Forest Company

The Future Forest Company exists to restore the UK’s natural landscapes, planting native trees, protecting endangered habitats, and creating thriving ecosystems that lock up carbon and support biodiversity.

The Future Forest Company manages over 2,000 hectares of land across Scotland and England, delivering innovative projects that combine carbon capture, biodiversity gains, and regenerative land use.

Our work is guided by a simple belief that healthy, restored nature is the foundation of a sustainable future. Through corporate partnerships, individual contributions, and pioneering approaches to nature-based solutions, we’re working every day to create wilder, more resilient landscapes for the benefit of people, wildlife, and the planet.

Our Sites

The Future Forest Company manages an ambitious portfolio of over 11 restoration sites across Scotland and England, covering more than 2,000 hectares of land dedicated to climate and biodiversity recovery.

In Scotland, our projects include large-scale native broadleaf reforestation, peatland restoration, and habitat creation across the Highlands, Central Belt, and west coast,  delivering meaningful impact in some of the UK’s most ecologically valuable landscapes. In England, we’re restoring woodland and meadow habitats that reconnect fragmented ecosystems and support endangered species. Each site is carefully selected and managed to maximise carbon capture, enhance biodiversity, and deliver measurable, lasting outcomes for nature.
